We use iPad apps to practise our lower case letters. We also use a special pen that is easy to hold and move.

3d Shapes Creations by Room 209
The Grade 1 and 2 students in Mrs. Page's class have been studying 3d shapes with our York University Teacher Candidate, Mr. Mann. He taught students to use 3d shapes to create robots and spaceships. Students worked with Mr. Mann to create "Success Criteria", which outlines how to successfully demonstrate the understandings in a lesson or set of lessons. Check out some photos below!
"I used 3 rectangular prisms and two cylinders" - A. M-H
"I made a robot. I used 1 cube with 6 faces, 1 sphere, and 6 cylinders. Cylinders have 2 flat sides." - AJ. N
"This is Jet Pack Junior! I used 1 cone, 2 triangles and 4 cylinders." - P. L-O
